We thank you for being a valued patient of Heywood Healthcare and want to inform you of some important changes in our health system.

Since February of this year, we have been using a single patient portal across our organization. Effective October 29, 2021, we returned to the use of two patient portals, as we were prior to February of 2021.

The Heywood Healthcare portal you are using now will remain in place and can be used for accessing reports and results for services received within the hospital such as Radiology and Lab services.

The Athena patient portal was re-activated on October 29, 2021, and will contain results and reports for all services received in the outpatient or office setting (i.e., if you see your primary care physician or specialist, such as cardiology). Results and reports for services received within the hospital will also be forwarded to the Athena portal.

Heywood Healthcare also has implemented a patient portal mobile app for
the patient portal called Meditech MHealth. This app can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store for Android operating systems (Samsung, LG, etc.) or App Store for iOS and iPadOS operating system (iPhone, iPad, etc.).
